new PSH models
« on: May 12, 2010, 01:21:54 AM »
Anyone know of any links to reviews etc of the new PSH models?

Here's some pics of a friend "The Feeze" on the current 9'3" PSH Ripper.

Here's a link to a dealer in Oz that has the only info on the web that I have found so far on the 2010 models.
Hopefully Blane will chime in on when the boards will be available in the U.S., and where.

Great photo of "The Freeze" on the 9'3. That is still the best board I have owned for surfing with a paddle ;D. Can't wait to try the new, improved model.

Enjoy

RobDog,

We will have all 15 of the new Paddle Surf Hawaii wood veneer SUP boards in about a month. We will then get them out to dealers around the country asap. As soon as I have time Ill post all info that I have on the new boards. Please feel free to PM me any time with questions on arrival times and board sizes and volume. We have two full containers ordered for the US mainland with more behind that. Supply shouldn't be a problem. Thanks.

That is a pretty sick tube sequence.  Looks like something I would try myself if that beautiful wave set up for me like that unlike shots of ikaika at pipe which is not a possibility for me.  Really great looking wave.  You should make a poster of that one.

Thanks for the replies. There are gonna be so many to choose from. I am pretty keen to hear how they go, and how the various different constructions (molded, wood veneer and comp) compare.  ;D ;D

Linter-I padded up the new Boardworks PSH 10' Wide aa last Saturday and took it up north for a surf. Problem was the waves were about knee high. I weigh 185 and the board was super stable for sure. I did catch about 5 small waves but could really only go in a straight line. It was fast but that's all I can tell you for now. Im gonna give it a good test this weekend with the south swell coming. Ill post photos if we get it good.

Paddlejones-The only thing I can tell you about Blane's new race/flatwater boards is that he is working 24/7 getting then dialed in for BOP Hawaii. We will get them on the mainland as soon as they are ready for production. I don't race but I think I might start as soon as I get my hands on one!!

Hey Jim,  Thanks for the info on the new PSH boards. Been wondering myself about them.  Is the first container wood veneer boards only?  Do let us know when they arrive.   Good to see you posting here !

Hey Jim,
Any chance of popping that 10-0 WAA on the scales - would like to know what it weighs, with fins in.
My 10'6" WAA is 30lbs, but I did retro-fit a handle, so I may have added a little weight doing that.
