No idea, but it probably is a Naish, just not one they are gonna sell to me or you--until maybe next year.

Ninja--the SOB can write, eh? I think it helps that he has so much going on upstairs to write about. I've had a few folks say they thought I was ghostwritng for him. As if. I edit for Dave, but in that last post I changed a comma to a colon and corrected a spelling error.

Last time I got grumpy about a talented guy writing well was Gerry Lopez and his book "Surf Is Where You Find it". http://www.kenalu.com/index.php?s=I%27m+grumpy&x=0&y=0 If you haven't read that, go to Amazon right now and buy a copy. I've read mine three times, and I'm going to read it again. Poetry.

“The summer wave off the little point of the bay at Pakala still spins perfectly around it’s arc of shallow reef, just as it did before my grandparents lived there, or later when a child looked up to notice its ample grace.”

Got to love that.

Very clean and crisp picture. Who shot it and what was the distance and what gear was used?

It looks like that new one they had at Kailua that Iggy just finished a couple months back. I believe its a 12'6.

Ponobill

I just wanted to thank you for all the cool things you post on this forum.  I mostly only surf on my sup.  After reading that Kalama article seems like there is a whole part of this sport I'm missing.  Good surf and down wind swells to you.
