Dave has really been knocking them out of the park lately. Today's post on focus is a gem. Not only that the bugger can write.  http://www.davidkalama.com

I have definitely learned a lot from his articles (and also from this site). Been practicing the Tahitian Stroke yesterday. Different! And effective. Cool. SUB paddling is every bit as complicated and sophisticated as kayak paddling techniques I am realizing.

My first year of SUP I thought I was getting a good paddle technique.

My second year of SUP I realized I was only getting the basics down and had a long way to go.

In my third year of SUP and I realize I stiil have a long way to go.

Its not discouraging at all as its all good, I can feel that I get better with each session which makes it fun.  The worst thing that can happen is to feel you've mastered something....that means the journey is over.

DK shows you that there is always more to learn and it feels good just reaching the next rung in the ladder.......stoked for life!
