we had a little cold streak (for me from Hawaii) and with the north wind it was chilly.  yeah i wasn't even sweating, but on the 24th we were back to scant clothing (no clouds for a couple of days)...... boardies and suit! i believe there was a temperature change of about 20 degrees.

yup, that what they call London Bridge.... but it is not the "Tower Bridge" of London.
Lake Havasu is apporx. 35 miles long  and 3 miles wide. there are several down wind run.
also there are good runs on the Colorado River.

Nice video. How often do you get nice downwind conditions?

we can get a north wind for 1 to 5 days straight and have dry streaks of north wind.
today was a mild south wind so we did the run the opposite direction.
there are also river runs below Parker Dam and above Lake Havasu.
it's not a Maliko Run or surfing Kanaha, but it's just as fun only different.
we'll get some more footage of the other runs and post them.

How accurately can you predict the wind/conditions?  A Lake Havasu road trip makes a good weekend from LA.

H2O
Best runs here are fall through late spring when we get North winds.  Summer south winds can be fun but don't build as big a swell.  We usually go by wunderground.com for the weather and look for North winds of at least 15-25.  Strong wind will usually last for three days.  Highest forecast that i've seen was 35-45 with gusts to 60.  Strong South winds are of shorter duration.  Get hold of us if you ever want to come out to paddle.
