Looks to me like a lot of you guys have a bigger PERSONAL QUIVER than the TOTAL INVENTORY of SUP's in any of the shops in my area....(yes, we're ADDICTED!!!)  Personally I've had 4 boards, one Infinity Noserider and three PHS's...an 11' WAA, a 10'3"AA (handglassed), and a 9'6" WAA....and I've got a 9'3"WRipper on the way!!! Incidentally, the 10'3" PSH is FOR SALE!!!  (it's in great shape)...my wife would really appreciate someone out there to buy it!!! Tim

Wow,  some people have owned alot of boards.
What type are you?
1. Fad / tech nerd: Needs to have the latest, regardless of skill.
2. Insider: Gettin hooked up with bro deals.
3. Fibber: You've seen, rode, or know someone with one of these boards.
4. Loaded: Money tree in your backyard.
5. Most Wanted: Promoting while using, and getting huge discounts.

I am type 6... a surfer who is totally stoked on SUP'ing that I feel like a freaking ten year old grom... I don't have a money tree in my back yard... I have been working my f'ing ass off for fifteen years, five years ago opening my own firm.  Three of my boards were made for me by a friend and super amazing shaper Roger Hinds.  We barter back and forth and he makes beautiful boards.  Four others, I bought on Craigslist, figured out what I did and didn't like, and sold thereafter.  Most of the others I bought from Corran at Imagine Eco... (or Kevin his So Cal rep)... I have bought five of their boards, selling two and retaining three.  I keep two boards that are very similar so that when I snap one, I will be able to jump on another without a difficult adjustment... and if t is big enough to break a board, I don't want to be out of the water waiting for a board, or trying to figure out a new one.  Two boards, I have given away to people who wanted to learn how to SUP, but couldn't afford one.

I'm type six.
