Pics from yesterday's SUP Contest at Church's

The Doheny Surf Club hosted its annual contest which includes an SUP division.  I got to surf with Micky Munoz in my first heat.  Kevin Coffman and Chuck Glynn and Rocky McKinnon were surfing great. Enjoy the pics.

Does anybody knows about Coffman's board? ( vs his size?) This guy is showing super power in his turns and so perfect drive( huge snap and so deep powered cutback...), that's beautiful!

Kevin is riding a 9 foot Nectar MacMagic, shaped by Gary MacNabb. He is a big boy 210+lbs and throws buckets of h2o on his turns.  He also wins flat water races. 1st in stock at Lake Tahoe 2009,
