Pics of this new swell
« on: January 06, 2010, 03:18:47 PM »
Beautiful waves and Konas today.  5 stand up guys out on this earlier, but all out by the time I drove back down with a camera.  Possibly will get some shots of that from others.

Damn...  That looks soooooo fun! Stuck here in N/Fl in the grips of one of the coldest weeks we've ever seen... Actually looking forward to the Surf Expo next week. That 160 miles drive can make a big dif in temps...  Anyway, you guys just go on and enjoy paradise as somebody has to do it....     Later,  JD

Dave Kalama and Robbie Naish (and a couple others) were having a super time on their sup's at Lanes this morning. Very inspiring to watch them - they make it look easy - ha! Wish I had brought my camera.

My good friend Earle Alldredge is there now with his son Ian ( who along w/ Kai Lenny is Naish sponsored kiteoarder)  I'm hoping to see some pics sent to me.   And... I'm waiting for the swell to get here in Ventura County. Been small last few days.
