Family surfing
« on: October 13, 2009, 01:36:41 AM »
Hi,
Sunday's micro waves session with my kids: Milo and Matis (5 years old next thursday), Noah (10 years in 3 weeks) and me (.. years today!).
Note that we had Mama's autorization for tandem surfing  ;)

This is in Lanzarote (Canary Islands).
The place is Las Cucharas Beach, known as a world cup windsurfing spot.
This wave is rarely bigger, but happens a lot in summer.
Then on the Isand, we have a lot of spots working good in winter.
The season beggins...

San Juan has been clean and serious last week.
did you surf it on a Stand Up?
Last wednesday has been a dream day at the wreck, near by SJ

After a sad and cold Xmas in Germany (no comment), back in Lanzarote.
Surprise, My friend Russel finished to shape 2 wood paddles for me and he made some for the kids!!! :)
No wave, no long distance, just the kids playing in the water to end the year...

sylvano happy new year.

yeah...awsome wood paddles.   I remember those days back in 2006 when couldnot get carbon paddles and we were crazy about  wood crafts.   anyway,  your kids are future rippers.

have not sup san juan yet...too crowded...  my friend in famara has a board and a paddle there.  and... short board surfin is always good in lanzarote.

next week will be in fuerte. but if I have a chance to visit the other island. hope to sup.  buenas olas y buen aņo!
