  love to see joe aaron do his stuff, just wish the editor of that vid had left him alone instead of buggering him up with all manner of look-at-me quick cuts and color changes bla bla bla.  nearly didn't watch it to the end and the brief SUP riding.  glad i did, though.  very nice.

Though it was a bit agitated editing and music, I did enjoy seeing this new? longboard
kid, Aaron.  Since I crossed over to standup I've lost touch with the other surfing
disciplines.  Thanks for keeping me current Johnny.

That's it. My 10'x29" gets the call tomorrow and I'll be trying to camp on the nose and other tricks.

I stupidly beat myself up today, attempting a session in 20-25 mph side/onshore winds on the 8'5" quad, which yawed about in the washing machine conditions.

Tomorrow, the winds should shift side/offshore and drop to below 10 mph. The only decision now: big single fin, thruster or 2+1? Will be dreaming tonight of drop-knees, cross-steps and toes near the nose...

   Oh, wow, what a great video that Mikey De Temple one is.  Blows me away how smooth and stylish he is; and what an animal he is, too, the way he bulls through the white water on a couple of those waves.  Man!

Time to resurrect... just saw this vid of Noosa longboarding.... it's frickin' awesome!
Not SUP, but something to admire and shoot for on SUP.... I just gotta figure out what to do with the paddle.

I hung 10 on my 8'10 Allwave 2 times... nothing like the guys in this video, but very cool feeling on SUP.

I lived in Noosa for 7 months in the mid 80's. I was wishing I had a longboard, but there were none around at that time... shortboards only.... bummer... it is an absolutley perfect longboard wave. I'm glad to see they came to their sense's
