Naish SUP Race Series Championship

I apologize about the similar thread, but wanted to give people a heads up on the championship race.

Naish SUP Race Series Championship
(Only those who have been invited via their area's race series will qualify)

When:  September 13, 2009
Where:  Bonita Cove, Mission Beach San Diego, CA
Time:  10:30 am registration, 11:30 am start, 1:30 pm awards ceremony
Course: 1 hour long course to be determined after review
Prizes:  Top 3 of both men and women will receive:
1st place = 14' Glide AST and trip to Maui for the 5th Annual Naish Paddle Championships Maliko Gulch to Kahului Harbor
2nd Place = Race Paddle
3rd Place = Backpack with Naish scwag

Open Race:

Same race schedule as above.  In order to increase participation and involvement in SUP, we have decided to add an open race.  "Open" to all paddlers, this race will be for anyone who wants to participate.

We are working with some local hotels to get a group rate for people who need lodging.

Other updates to follow as we get closer to the event.  Good luck to all the paddlers still competing.

People who are looking to rent boards rather than fly them to the race can contact these retailers for availability.  We may also have some boards to rent through one of the retailers, but no guarantees at this point.
