Finally some shoes that fit

(1/1)

headmount:
Hiking or running is a great cross train for water sports but for the last 40 years I've had to stay barefoot or with slippers, aka slaps, slippahs, flip flops, etc.  I've hiked into the crater with them but they have an obvious downside in rough terrain and going downhill.

They're Merrel Moah 2 in W as in wide.  The W sold me and they delivered.  So if you're a wide foot like me, I recommend these.  They're waterproof to boot.

Area 10:
Do you mean Moab, rather than Moah?

headmount:
Yes.  I'm drunk.

Area 10:
Haha! Wish I was. It's the start of a long working day for me, with a 6-hour round trip commute, and won't be home until 10:30pm. Won't even be time for lunch. And it's dull, cold and windy. Peachy.

Quickbeam:
I bought a pair of these shoes earlier this year. I got the "mid" ones (go a little higher up on the ankle). Are the most comfortable shoes I think I've ever had. I have a smaller foot so had to put some insoles in. I've never even thought of doing this before, but I liked them so much I went out and bought a second pair for when my first pair wears out. Can't say enough good things about how comfortable they are.
