I find that I rarely get my back foot onto the kick pad, as if it is too far back for me. I only weigh 155. Only on the steepest over head waves does it begin to feel right there for me.  Anyone else move it forward?

I surfed the Stun Gun for about a year. Steep overhead waves are what it's designed for.

If you try to get back near the kickpad on the Stun Gun with slower waves, the tail will sink and the board come to a stop. The tail is just too narrow to get the board to plane at slow speeds. It's a very slow board without a steep wave to get it going. It will turn from the middle of the board to some extent but it will still be slow.

That same year I also owned the World Wide so I was able to compare the two. That board excels in slower waves due to it's wider tail. No problem riding from the tail on that board. It also handles overhead waves nicely.

I ended up selling the Stun Gun because we rarely get waves here that are powerful enough to make it go.

I later sold the World Wide in favor of the Sunova Flow, but that's another story.
