Sounds pretty standard for warranty speak, they only cover manufacturer defect. If people have any issues (rare) I always try to file the claim on behalf of the customer, we always seem to get a good outcome. To clarify, since the 2017 models, Starboard inflatables have a 2 year warranty. For the 2018 models, Red Paddle Co upgraded their warranty to 2 years when you register the board with them. Otherwise it's just 1 year.

The 2 year Red Paddle warranty is a nice upgrade. I registered mine just as soon as I got it. (hoping I never will need to use it). I think one of my biggest concerns with the inflatables is getting slow leaks. Many years ago I had a 12ft. Avon Inflatable for scuba diving and it was always leaking. It was always a slow leak and difficult to find,  but it was a great little boat that got alot of hard use.

I'm really interested how the Starboard 18' iSUP compares to the Sic Maui 17.4 Air Glide..

Are we about to see some kind of trend towards more sophisticated iSups that might come close to replacing hard boards?
I am down on the Oregon coast now hoping to get a chance to try my new Red Paddle 14 Elite in Yaquina Bay.
This will be the first time on my new board. It's all inflated and ready to go..transported on my trailer along with my other hardboards and kayaks. (we are prepared for all conditions!)
