Ag drones that can carry 100 lbs are out now but that's not the real deal.

As Pono says, the self drivers will become prevalent and night wing, note the specific use case I noted. If you've been to either of those resorts, you'll know that it's possible and desirable.

If you haven't been around large drones, I'd stay out of pronouncing much here. Here in LA, production drones regularly carry 10-15 lbs of camera.

As to the flying of the drone, that again will kind of blow your mind. The DJI stuff mostly flies itself and as Pono pointed out, knows where it is. These are $1,000 drones. Imagine what you could do if you were replacing a delivery driver and car. $10,000 would blow your mind with capacity and intelligence.

My lead developer has the new Intel drone and built his own battery pack. He's flying for about an hour now!

I've seen news stories about the delivering medical supplies to reach villages in Africa. But in the video story, those supplies were small packages.

The technology is already there to do all of what we are talking about.  It is being done.  Yes, refinement is required and real issues need to be addressed but this is a foregone conclusion. 

Even the homemade jobs are getting capable.  From Korea.  Sorry, Ji Su.  Testing under the powerlines needs to be done.
