Where are you flying from?

We are actually just starting to think of a trip to Costa Rica sometime next year. I did a quick scan on I think it was Trip Advisor, and it looked like AeroMexico had pretty good deals (flying out of Vancouver, Canada). I have never flown with AeroMexico, so did a quick google search and what came up didn't really impress me. Think I'll keep looking.

I have bought tickets for direct flights the last two years from LAX to Liberia for less than $400 round trip on Delta.  I have heard that United has good prices on direct flights from LAX also.

My wife found flights to Liberia, Costa Rica on United for under $300. But you had to book pretty far ahead. We booked for late Jan in Sept. Also when we hit Nicaragua in December the flights were under $300 on Spirit. But once again, we booked way ahead.
I invited my buddy to come down to Costa half way into my trip and he was there the NEXT day! He forked out almost $500 for a Friday flight. He said if he'd booked it for Saturday it woulda been $1000! Have to say it was super cool he came down "On the fly" so to speak!  8)

I am currently in my 6th day of Nosara Paddlesurfing camp. I'll give a more detailed report later, but the short answer is it is great. They have a complete supply of Infiniti round nose Burrs in carbon. I flew here with carry on

United is 150 domestic and 200 international. They got me both ways on my Newark to Liberia flights this yr. $400! Ouch. But I sure got some good use outa my sup and 6'6" proner fish. I asked if they would wave the fee on the way back since our flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra two days (yay!) but they said I had to pay up front and then submit the request to customer service at a later date, I was like, probably not gonna happen. Gotta pay to play.
