That is definitely not for me. That sail in front would blocks my front view and that is unacceptable for me.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

Solving that vexing problem of going downwind.

Now if someone would just put a motor on a board so we could catch waves.

Which is why he should be using a kite, just leave the paddle strapped to the deck, kind of like playing basket/football.
Or even snow skiing at Jaws, oh wait, that's been done.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Yea,,,a fixed sail strapped to a board is going to be easy to controll when the wind decides to misbehave.

Stand up kiting = SUK

This downwind sail design is common in the kayaking universe. Anyone tempted by it should really try a down winder on an appropriate board though...

Speaking of which, supposed to be gusting to 40 up here (NorCal) tomorrow!
