What would The Dude say?
« on: February 05, 2017, 06:51:53 AM »
Sunday morning coffee and NY Times...confined to trail running by a combination of kids and weather....

Then I find this:

Too many for the rack
Some in the shack
Some under decks
Some have straps

Now i'm all for capitalism...and I don't mind the occasional wall candy as long as it's utilitarian, maybe a nice Yater Spoon or something, but jeez. ....  Bungee Cords AND Double Adjustable Paddles?

Donnie must be rolling over in his coffee can.

How often do you think those alleys get used. Probably as much as the SUPs.  Pointless display.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

"The most expensive home sold in the United States is believed to be an East Hampton estate that sold for $147 million in 2014. In California, the biggest sale is believed to be that of a nine-acre estate in Woodside that sold for $117.5 million in 2013."

"After a bidding war against Beyoncé and Jay Z, Markus Persson, the billionaire bachelor who created the Minecraft video game, bought the house for $70 million."

$250M and one other for $500M vs $300M for a boat.  Hmm?

So....bowling and paddle boarding? Oh... I get it :-\
Frick'n interior decorator!

I built a house right on the beach at one of the best local breaks, and put an indoor half-court basketball gym under the house. It wasn't easy or cheap. There are no surf racks in the garage either :'(

It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

I was going to say:

Obviously the interior decorator is not a skateboarder.

That's what I'm talking about. That could have been an indoor half-pipe for skating that converts into an indoor snowboard half-pipe. Drop the room to 20 deg. and add a snow blower.

I always liked this. I have noticed those interior designers are much more relevant and decisions far slower since we have been holding computers in our hands although this is older than that.

F the bowling. I'd do what Kelly did and build myself a perfect wave machine with rights AND lefts.
