There was another late round quarterback draft pick in 1956 who won two super bowls and is now in the NFL Hall of Fame. With the 200th pick in the 17th Round of the 1956 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected quarterback Bart Starr and he became a great quarterback when coach Vince Lombardi became head coach of the Packers in 1959.

There are "gems in the ruff" in the late rounds of the NFL draft. An NFL team just needs to find them.

Hard to argue he is the G.O.A.T.  Consistent excellence/results over a very long time in football years.

As well.... just as with Montana and Walsh... he was very fortunate to find Belichick and Belichick him. Sometimes there is a synchronistic effect... an alchemy combining 2 rare talents. It's pretty much made NE an unstoppable force. I'm not a fan of the team, but do enjoy watching, admire and appreciate observing those that are the very best at what they do.

But... in the great American tradition, as someone who doesn't have a dog in this race..... forced to make a choice- I'll be cheering on the under-dog, ATL and Ryan.

As someone who doesn't watch a whole lot of TV or pro sports anymore, I'll be checking the scores to see if it is worth a watch and doing it via my DVR.

Priorities... it is 2-4ft and glassy...... Cheers!

Great job Atlanta, just a few plays the other way and you would have had it.

Eat shit Roger Goodell. Boo his ass off stage!

A tale of 2 halves. Greatest comeback. Greatest qb. Greatest coach. The end.

It was a fantastic game. Atlanta seemingly had the game in hand at the end of the third quarter, then penalties and sacks on Atlanta's part and momentum swung to New England. And Brady was on fire during the fourth quarter and in overtime.

I'm not a particularly huge fan (I had no idea who were playing). So I went for a bike ride and came back when that lady jumped from the roof.

I think what I like the most about the sport is how much strategy is put into developing the plays. Between the coach(es) and QB there is just so much going on. More so than most other sports.

Here is my favorite sport:
