Cool footage. I really like the forward facing view, very cool.

That's Randy R and Devin. They all went when LPB, HM, Victor and I were finishing up. It looked amazing.

I have to say, while this is a great vid, it doesn't begin to do the conditions justice. Yesterday, the wind was what I'd term 'ferocious'. We don't often get those kind of days and it's a bit spooky to be out there while super fun at the same time. My board cartwheeled on two of my three falls and just missed my head. I went under water when I saw it coming out of the corner of my eye. Getting knocked out could make it a final run.  :o While you can sort of see that it's windy in the vid, the cameras just don't capture the reality of what it is like. Still great footage of everyone!

Great video. Awesome wind and water conditions. Looked absolutely perfect. Thanks for sharing the video.

BTW, just curious as always since I'm always hungry for information. Does anyone know what make and model of the downwind board the guy was riding? Ditto for the girl on the white downwind board.

I would love to have a downwind board; but alas, on the upper Texas coast which is my saltwater haunt, we just don't get decent downwind wind and water conditions.

Both Jeremy and Devin are riding custom Maui-made SIC boards. Devin's likely on either a 14 or 15 foot custom. I can't remember JR's board dim's but it's over 17' and very narrow, I think it's 22 inches but I can't recall for sure. Point being that neither board is a standard SIC shape.

The standard SIC Bullet 17-4 Version 1 is a popular shape for downwind here but there's a wide variety of boards to be found on any given downwinder.

Looks like Andrea Moeller, Devin Blish and Ralf Sifford. Was that you Larry on the ski? Smoking conditions. Looked big on a GoPro, which means fricken' huge.

How's Andrea's leg. Looks like it's not giving her much trouble.
