The water looks like coffee with creamer in it.

That is basically our water color most of the year where I saltwater sup. The water color gets a little better color in the winter, not as brown.

I took a picture of the Santa Ana River, at PCH this morning.  It is the color of mud.
Unfortunately, I don't post pictures often enough and I can't find the information on how to post the picture.  I took it with my iPhone and it is in my Photos on my Mac.  I'll post it later, when I get the instructions.

There were emergency rescue crews all up and down the Santa Ana River this morning.  I think somebody fell in.  It looks like a real river, with actual current.
