I see that 'nose riding foil' video two ways ..the guy with the beard (sorry I don't remember his name) is great on longboard anyway.

..and what's the point of adding a foil?!  It seems it would take some incredible design to 'foil' from the nose, no?  HmMmm?!

____________

Wow yogi... That guy also looks like someone you don't want to fight on the sand.

Actually, having a foil on the back could make noseriding better. Pivot the foil down with weight on the nose and you could induce a negative AoA on the foils that would pull the tail down.

That's what I was thinking. Box tail and big ass D fin not required.

I actually like the transitioning from foiling to float better. I'd love to start off with a lot of foiled speed, then drop onto my rail for a hard bottom turn. I like that he paddled out and didn't frick'n pump all over the place..... ::)

This guy is pumping pedals instead. Lots of ideas yet to be discovered. People may be pedaling the Maliko run some day.

I'm wondering if this is the oft mentioned kite or windsurf foil that needs more speed to lift?

Seems likely as he's going way faster than our go foil friends.
