Nice PT! That looked like fun.

The 2016 Ace has a much deeper sunken deck than my 2013 Ace. Guess that provides better stability. Are your feet wet when the board is stationary in flat water? Or maybe the nose and sides are taller on your board.

Yes definitely a deeper dugout from 2015 onwards. The edges at the top are virtually square too, so it really adds to the sense of depth and difficulty hauling yourself back in. The amazing thing though is how well the board drains. As you can see at various times when the camera looks down at my feet, the water just doesn't stay inside the dugout. As always though, it starts to get difficult to maintain control above 25 knots.

Nice video. The video basically let me compare your dugout style sup versus David John's non dugout version sup when he was paddling with you to your left and right.

Yes although there is also an aspect of DJ's natural style and grace vs my blunt force.
