Cubs are going to lose.  How do I know?  I'm betting on them to win...in 6  with 32 runs total for the series.  Already down 1-0 to, of all god awful franchises...the Indians.  That curse thing, it's real.

For the Cubs fans, I think it's wonderful for their diehard fans to finally get to see their team win a World Series since 1908. Just too bad the late Harry Carey wasn't around to see it.

Baseball is back!!!
I know it never went away, but it had gotten pushed to the back of the sports room due to its pace, hard to compete against the high, fast, and risky action of other sports like X-games, racing, and even the NFL which has traditionally been it's biggest competition, but the NFL screwed the pooch.  Politics and sports should not be intertwined, it's killing the NFL, and it's not just the kneeling, it's been brewing in the NFL for a very long time, and a lot of that is because of the NFL talking heads who have been trying to tie the two together for years, big mistake.
No politics in baseball, hopefully it will stay that way.
Will the NFL ratings improve now that baseball is over?  Maybe a tick, but they have some work to do to get the viewers back, and it might be too late.  The decline of ticket sales and sponsorship could easily kill it off.
Remember when there was the NFL?
I expect the ratings for baseball next season to be vastly improved thanks, in part, to this last series.
Last night's game was one for the record books, 40 million watched on TV!
