WWSUP in South-East of France
fredi:
Hello
I want to share some videos of White Water Standup paddling in South-East of France.
I've started this activity a few months ago, I still consider myself as a beginner, so any comments are welcome.
Le Loup, my first "narrow" river:
L'Ardèche, not a lot of rapids but gorgeous landscape:
Le Var, my first descent without professional instructor:

Nice videos. Just wish I could understand your comments since I don't speak French.
Thanks for sharing your three videos.

Looks like fun. Inflatables are definitely on the menu.
mr_proper:
Nice :)
Unfortunately I can't give you any comment, because I'm a beginner too ;-)

I've added subtitles yesterday on two of the videos (click on CC button on player bar).

There are also plastic white water sup boards. But they weight a lot (double of an inflatable, like 20kg).
You can also descent with epoxy boards under certain conditions: if water level is high and river difficulty is matching your skills you will certainly hit nothing.
But if you consider all pros and cons, I think inflatables win.
