For those of you who are paddle breakers, you might be interested in this one (it has a lifetime guarantee).  It's probably 3-5 oz heavier than a KeNalu or some other pure carbons, but that weight isn't all swing weight. I haven't tried it (I love my KeNalu and I don't break tend to break paddles), but I've heard some good things.  A couple of my bigger buddies are paddle breakers and are likely going to try one for next spring.

Thats an unusual break, not likely from just hard paddling. Could be either a hit or a defect. Send a picture to Lane via pm (hes on the zone). He'll either replace it or give you a deep discount on a new blade.

And this is why Ke Nalu is an amazing paddle company. I was just looking at them for paddles earlier today, remarking at the cost, but soon seeing why, and how incredibly interchangeable they are. I'm saving my ducats for one starting right...meow !

I snapped a kenalu blade like that but close to the shaft blade joint .  They were great in giving me a lost cost new one ! I snapped my favorite quickblade a month ago .  I was in nosara costa rica for a bluezone camp and met the owner of 27north .  Their surf paddle looks awesome and "paddlewoo" writer, bluezone owner Eric A swears by them that he has never broke one yet .   Its next on my purchase list .

Cool...I'd love to head down that camp one of these days.  Maybe he can help me get rid of my stink bug stance.

Update,
I received my KeNalu replacement blade at about half price. I also ordered a Kevlar Pro Surf 27No I like the fact that it is guaranteed  for life!
I'm hoping it paddles as well?

Let us know how it feels.  I'm curious about that one. A few of my friends are ready to pull the trigger on it.
