DEMO DAY in southern Wisconsin this Saturday.

If you've seen our canoes at Canoecopia and would like to try one out on the water, come to Paddleboard Specialist this Saturday afternoon in Oconomowoc WI. Starting at 12 noon. We will have some of our canoes as well as paddleboards for people to take out on the water.

If you're coming and would like to try a particular canoe let us know and we'll try and bring it along. See you there!

What a weekend!
Not only were we were treated to some edge-of-your-seat finishes and astounding performances from #PPG2016, we had the chance to demo boards with Savage River and Larry W. Allison's fin setup.

We could write on and on about what it's supposed to do, and what it's supposed to feel like, but allow me to let user experience speak to that instead.

We had Beth, a friend and lifelong paddler who has typically been a little hesitant to try anything less than 26" wide get out on the Edge 14' x 24" with the ventral and twins. She was very impressed not only with the glide of the board, but the stability.

Dan, a brand new SUP paddler, stopped by today to try both the 14' x 28" and the 14' x 24". He opted for the 28" first, which doesn't have the ventral and twins. He was very happy with the efficiency and speed, but a little skeptical of the balance. We had him try the 24" with the ventral and twins.
His response? "It felt just as stable... maybe more so than that 28."
We may be on to something here...
