With a title like that I would expect some screen polarizing and a 'GrateFul Dead' soundtrack.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Smooth water Creek.  Love that view for checking out what your feet are up to.

It's interesting to see how those slightly sunk rails engage the water.  More YouTube Acid!

Thanks Rick! I didn't notice you had a youtube channel until now, love the videos.

FWIW, I was pretty disappointed that you weren't tripping balls while surfing  :o

TallDude - I was never a Dead Head and surfing was my chosen drug...... odd how I became such a big fan of Acid, Speeed and Shrooms  ;D

Slatch.... it's always good to see what the feet are up to.... helps me learn a board.

Cheat, at my current (temporary) weight, I am almost running almost at 1 to 1, so the rails spend a lot of time underwater.
Hopefully we'll have some real waves to film soon!

Africa..... believe me, it looks small when I am on it!
I really like looking down at that board.... such clean lines!

Whatz^.... Thanks.... by the way, I am an old Snurfer.

Remickulous, thanks, glad you found the YouTube channel, and.....I tried surfing after drinking wine, back in the 70's.... it didn't go to well. ;D

Nice video. Looks like you had some nice water conditions. The board really looked smooth as it rode on the waves. Of course, I'm sure your skill had something to do with it.  ;)

Hey Creek, how wide is that Acid?  I've been thinking about one of those, off and on.  I rode Tom's 9'6 Sunova Style and found it to surf great, a little tippy, but not too tippy.  How does the Acid compare?

Zoo...the 9'4 is 31.5" wide... 136 liters.
The numbers sound great, but it is my most challenging board, because of the very foiled rails + thin nose and tail.
The 8'3 Shroom at 126 liters is much easier.

But, if you did ok on the 9'6 Style, it should be a cakewalk... because the 9'6 is only 27'5" wide....112 liters.
The Style is a traditional longboard.... made for classic noseriding style.....  the Acid is full on performance shape.
Very curvy outline vs the Style's parallel rails, more aggressive rocker, thin nose vs wide..... they are worlds apart, but they both have the trademark Bert Burger, foiled rails that add so much to the performance of each board.

Zoo.... it's an awesome board.... the width makes it easy to catch weak waves and the overall shape works so good in juice.
You could easily go 9'1.... maybe 8'10 if you want to push yourself a bit.
