Hey Robon,

I mentioned in an different thread that I was up in your part of the province earlier this summer. We were staying in Nelson and got a chance to paddle a small part of the West Arm of Kootney Lake. Is a beautiful area you call home. Congratulations on your trip and seeing your goal through. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Hey Quickbeam,

Thanks and I'm glad you got a small taste of the lake and hopefully you can make it back for a longer tour. I would like to include the West Arm in a future trip (adds 33 kilometres+), cross the lake into Crawford Bay and head south down the east shore.

I've done some long one day tours, but never one that involves an overnight trip.. You've inspired me! Fabulous pics too. Thanks for posting.

My friend Michelle sent me a couple of pics with her sig from Garland Bay. Make fun of the last one all you want. Threw in the GPS map from Gaia with a satellite overlay.

Been up that way and driven to Kaslo on a windy day.  I loved the shadow shot.
