That helmet sitting on the tail is a good idea. Might even want to add a faceguard. Just a thought.

Bill it's been 6 days. Did you live to foil another day?

I didn't do anything--we left for the Pacific Paddle Games early, so I can surf. we're down in SoCal. After the race we're going to Kalama Kamp at Turks and Caicos, then back to Hood River. So about three weeks before I get the thing wet.

The two young kids that Rod Parmenter video'ed along with Connor were at Doheny a few days ago, foil-surfing. Remarkable. They're using a One Foil, and having no problem popping up in moderate waves, and turning them into awesome waves. But they weigh about as much as one of my legs.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.
