Surfline is upping their game:

The new Magic Seaweed app is much improved as well.

Still pays to go and see for yourself when possible.

It looks similar here today.

Fog........ Even the HD doesn't help with that.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Your winds look more agreeable. Our sideshore was obnoxious this morning. Too much work required to keep from blowing up the beach. Did catch a couple, so all wasn't lost.

Surfline is laughable on the iPad.  Still forced to use the iPhone app since there still is no iPad app.  Wonky, but actually worked ok until recently, but the last update whacked it out again.  Spins upside down, every time.  It's now also pron to claiming my internet connection is too slow, pretty funny and not even close to being true.

I prefer the Magic Seaweed app on my phone. Large print, so I don't need to fetch my glasses and lots of easy accessible info. Still assessing its accuracy, but it appears to be a little more optimistic than either Surfline or Swellinfo.

On the upper Texas coast at Galveston, most of the sup surfers like to surf the small waves at the 43rd Street Jetty along Seawall Blvd. I use the camera below which you can control for two minutes at a time. There is no fee to access this cam. The control of the cam is in the lower bottom right hand corner of the window and once control has been given, the upper top of the right side of the window is where the different positions are located to move the camera.

If you have an adblocker, you'll have to disable it. If you don't, you won't see anything. But the advertisement is only about 10 seconds long so it doesn't pop up if you stay on the site. If you leave the site, the advertisement will re-appear.
