Larry, I've tried so hard to explain this to you, the rules for rounding are simple. If it's better for you to round up, then do. If it's better to round down, then do. the operant world is "better". Math is simple when you know the rules.

Ok, I'll make you a deal.  I'll round up too if you will round up average speed in tenths.  A tenth is hard to get on the water.

I made the mistake of buying a speedcoach. Way too accurate. I don't get to fudge at all anymore. I tested the accuracy with my dragged speedometer and with video next to my marked PVC floaty pipe.  Good to a tenth of a MPH.
