Foil 360

Rod Parmenter called me this afternoon to tell me conner and some Maui kids (the name flew right out of my head) were going to foil at the Hatchery and he was going to shoot video. So I loaded up the grandkids and we went to watch. I brought along the 360 cam to see how it worked at shooting something at a distance. Answer--NOT WELL. But here's what I got. I shot a lot more but it's really not worth uploading. I'd edit this stuff but all the editing tools I have strip the metadata and fiddle with resolution. PIA.

Watching the video gave me a "queasy feeling" for some reason on my 24" monitor if full screen mode. Sort of like "vertigo" if you know what I mean. Still, thanks for sharing the video.

Yeah, 360 video has a lot of limitations. I'm still exploring it. I should have used my 4K camera, but it wasn't charged.
