Thanks, Jay,

The Prowave is on its way to becoming a beater.  I scrunched it severely.  I gather the innegra carbon boards are tough while they last, but when they go, the repair isn't worth the residual value any more.  It is still functional, but will be in rotation now with crude repair barnacles.

No regrets, I got over a year and a half of carefree use out of Prowave, so she did her duty.

I took Flow out again today.  It was not the most ideal conditions. The wind came up, and was gusting to at least 15, conditions were perma-high tide choppy.

Still, I am amazed at how I can balance on this board standing up once keyed in.  I almost feel secure on it.  However, I anoint it the first board I have been on that may be just as easy to stand on as knee paddle.  Knee paddling was not a picnic.  The Prowave is harder to stand up on, but is easier to knee paddle.  Maybe Flow will encourage me to stay on my feet more instead of defaulting to lazy old gomer knee paddling.

I have been on Speeed for three days, which is just a solemn blast of fun.  Flow is definitely later entry and requires a more energetic launch pad.

I finally felt the short board charisma.  On one powerful wave, I thought I was a chicken legged short boarder, I was really carving the wave up.  I guess that is the point of having a shorter board.  A different animal from Speeed, but fine in it's own right.

Wave roll offs are surprisingly adept, wih very smooth and fast turn arounds, which continue to be a great feature.

The Flow seems to be an excellent platform and it's name is appropriate on the wave, because it feels like it flows buttery smooth.  It seems to be the perfect extension to my Prowave turning learning, to let me toss things around more, but is something I can actually stand up on in moderate conditions.

Cheat, your stoke meter is going into the red:)
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Thanks, TD.  The Speeed actually makes me feel excited, which at my age, is welcome.  I always have fun on the Prowave, but I have to admit that the Speeed is the most fun I have ever had so far on a board.  They should have called it the Fuuun.  Every time I have taken it out, somebody or two have commented "that looks like a fun board".

I think the Flow will be showing more of it's stuff when I try it out in some of the 4-6 foot groundswell stuff.
