silly SUP skis
« on: July 28, 2016, 02:21:31 AM »
important question!

I'm looking for that video introducing those horrible Standup Paddle skis that look like boxes. It was on a thread in the past couple of months but I can't find it.

Yes, I did try search "silly" and have already blown my browsing time budget and while much wiser for it I didn't find what I was looking for. Searching "skis" didn;t help me either.

Anyone have a better memory than me? I so need to share it with friends who are having a silly discussion on the best boards.

Those look like these, that I had in high school in the 70s--"Aqua Skims".  Much less elaborate--just foam.  I ordered them from a magazine ad, and used them with oars from my inflatable raft because the flaps on the bottom didn't do much.  I guess that might make me the first standup paddler in Puget Sound:
