This is what I see on my Mac with OS 10.9.5 on Safari.

You can't see the other PonoBill in this frame, but you're there again in the far right.

I have an overwhelming urge to change digger's "perfect" to "perfectly". The editor disease strikes again. must...  resist...

Good stuff!  My parents were school teachers.  They would be disappointed :)

I'm using Chrome on my Mac so that explains why the video works for me.

Bill,  Your recent posts have me thinking... new paddle, 360, or neither, or both? The 360 on top of a ski helmet on a powder day would be pretty epic. On the other hand, in the name of frugality, I've been pretending that all paddles are the same for the last 3 years. I suspect this is not so.

All paddles are the same except when you're using them.

It's early days for 360 cams, and the usability of the software and hardware illustrates that. On the plus side, youtube supports them. On the minus side, editing is a bitch and the software is pretty buggy. I suspect the dev teams are working on a lot of stuff, because the response to bug reports is "oh, yeah, we know, will fix that real soon now" to things that are core to the product--like being able to connect the app to the device (default password doesn't work).

So I'd say, get a paddle, wait six months for the camera. Though if everyone did that there would be any 360 cam companies.

Ah yes. I thought it might be a Flash issue, but updating to the latest version for Safari doesn't do it. If you go to Youtube there's a message on the bottom of the video that says "360 video not supported on this browser". The longer explanation says:

To watch 360° videos, you need the latest version of Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Internet Explorer on your computer. On mobile devices, use the latest version of the YouTube app for Android or iOS.
...
You can also watch 360° videos on YouTube apps for Android and iOS.  For an immersive experience, you can even watch 360° videos with Cardboard and the YouTube Android app.

The pissing match continues.

The paddling looks weird, like I'm not doing anything. My abs don't feel that way. the night after that double DW I locked up in solid cramps if I tried to tie my shoe. But it does show the little reach and dab that makes the Mana work so well in a DW. The fastest guys here are down around an hour for a Viento run, but 1:16 is a friggin' miracle for me.

Like the 360 view, neat to be able to rotate and see the side view.  Look forward to more, the helmet mount too.

Is the cam waterproof or does it have an additional case?

How much does it weigh?

I tried the helmet mount, but it's too heavy. I'm doing a "clay-mount" instead. I would have shot some video this weekend with it, but I need a couple of NSI stick-ons to make it work.

I finally got to view this video on a device that supports the 360 videos. It’s so cool, I want one!
