Infinity Slo-Mo
« on: June 30, 2016, 12:15:33 PM »
Nice little edit from Modest Giant featuring Giorgio and the Brown Blurr himself. I really liked watching this in slo-mo since so many of the SUP surf edits out there are action-packed and intense with almost too many clip transitions to really pay attention to details. Nice seeing some paddle technique and rail game in slow motion.

And to watch two guys that somehow are comfortable on 24 inch wide boards act like circus acrobats. Oh to have that level of skill.

I prefer to watch SUP surf videos in slow motion. It lets me see the details on how they shift their bodies which in turn correlates to their foot work on the board in conjunction with where they are on the wave.

Newbies, like me, can learn a lot from watching these slow motion videos.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

Giorgio's board might be 23" or even narrower. Insane.

I've seen him before at San O.  The board he rides is more short board than fun board...not even in the same genus, family, class, order or phylum as my SUP.  :P
