Please send some north will you?
lol...If I could I would!

On a not so stoking note..this guy insisted I took his wave! Started getting quite ugly towards me, cursing, raising his voice, grabbing my board, threatening me. I was like, "Unhand my board you surf nazi psycho kook"!
Luckily he paddled away and no further incident.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

You are winning the wave lottery this summer cookster!
Nice shots as always. Please send some north will you?
lol..wish I could send waves! Every surfer would be getting some! I often say I should play the lottery...I even did start buying tickets earlier this yr but stopped. Seemed futile.

More summer stoke from 7/15-16. Water's like 72F now!

Picking up those cig butts on my 2-1/2 block walk up to the beach made the trek twice as long but twice as fulfilling. Sad how the masses here abuse this place.

Nice summer scenes.  Oh yea except for the stinky stuff.  You don't seem like the nazi type  ;D. And how do you steal a wave from behind?

Thanx, J. Nice summer scenes indeed. The waves may not be overhead but the temps are sure nice. Pretty sure coming from behind on the wave is NOT stealing/dropping in.  :P This guy is just a clueless kook, but he was out this morning and we were cool. I actually have known the dude for a few years and he's ok. Guess maybe he got up on the wrong side that morning.
Another fine morning of waves here in New Jersey. Wind was so calm I took out the V-Box for the entire sesh.

cook- where are you in LBI?   You seem to be getting at least a foot more size on all these swell dates than us up in Monmouth.  Sad for me...good for you!

Supthe creek said I won the wave lottery this summer!  More wave lottery pay out today! I'm down a little over 10 lbs from last summer and my V-Box feels WAY easier now!Went two hrs on it then traded off to the Assassin for the last 45 mins or so this morning.
If you click on a photo it links to the entire Flickr album from today. Lotta surfers were out.

Great pics Cook. It seems just when I start investigating plane tickets to Costa Rica, we get a fun swell.

NW- I've definitely been catching ALOT of waves this summer!

SCP- Costa Rica?! DO IT!

Water's like 75F now! Haven't put a wetsuit on in weeks now.
I called this spot "Deep Cove". It formed right after the beach fill ops were completed.
Amplified the south wind swells nicely!
