Nice. That Jordan Silva Parker body surfing on his back is pretty cool. I don't think I've seen that before. I'm going to have to try that. It's almost 9pm and it's still 80+ degrees out. Summer is here for sure.

I tried hand planing one time. At my 145 pound weight, the waves basically "beat me to death". I was so sore afterwards it took me a good 5 days to recover. And that was the last time I ever did hand planing.

Body surfing is how it all started for me, decades ago.
Seems like hand planes have made a come back in recent years, been seeing them for sale at surf shops recently (see my quiver)
