Fidra island
« on: May 29, 2016, 09:43:31 AM »
Trip on my local coastal stretch out to an island called Fidra in East Lothian, Scotland. Loads of sea birds here so a bit noisy. Best bit is being surrounded by Puffins (some call them sea parrots as they have colourful beaks and look like small parrots) which are not that scared so you can get quite close and they dive around your board.

Shed the wettie......maybe later! I tend to still paddle in a  very thin one when it is sunny and at its hottest and cool off in the water. Warmest the water gets is 16 degrees C. Maybe invest in a shortie one year ;)
