Hi,

I  have found that blade width makes a huge difference, seems like the wider 8+ inch blades have a rigid catch that I feel especially on a DW run.   The only paddles I use the blades are right around 7" wide, and the flexier the shaft the happier I am.  Kialoa has a blended shaft with a good amount of flex.

I'll have to check out the flyweight QB shaft, as a big guy I was afraid I would break it.
Aloha, I welcome and appreciate all responses of positivity and good feeling.

Eastbound sorry just saw this. Do you think the next size up would be better? I think it was a 90 something....
