Anyone have personal experience with 5.9 oz VS 8 oz Carbon of the same weaves?

I learned so much from what you write I just wonder to myself is there a place when you try to build light sup but loss speed because of flax or should you have on more kg and make the sup stiff. I build my sup very stiff I am 95 kg and want to paddle him for few years but people say carbon is fast then glass because of just weight or stiffness should I take my weight to how I build my sup is the pro have stiff board or just lighter.
