Some art stores carry Montana Paint spray paint cans in a variety of colors. http://www.montanacolors.com/webapp/spray?id=108
You might be able to buy them on line. Otherwise, take your board to an automotive paint supply store and match it to one of their color charts. They can mix you a small can.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Regular spray paint won't adhere well. Even Montana will come off with just your fingernail. Don't waste your time with that.

You need a two part epoxy paint topped with an automotive clear coat.

You might be better off to just sand the paint off the rail and leave it white.

Epoxy appliance paint from Home Depot.  Comes in 3 colors:  Black, white & silver, so you're in luck with a silver board.  I don't really worry much about paint & matching but when it's pretty easy like this, why not.  Just sand mask and spray and it should be a decent enough fix.

+1

It's all in the preparation.  For paint chips, lightly sand the chip, just enough to clean it up and key it.  Then, use an automotive spot putty to level the chip, sand smooth and finally, mask off and paint.  Once dry, wet sand and polish.

If you do paint, you might want to cover it with some Rail Saver Pro or similar product.

Even the best paints will just come off again with use.
