Jimmy Lewis M-16 Review (Small Surf)
« on: April 28, 2016, 10:31:24 AM »
First day on my new M-12'6. I thought I try it in some knee to thigh high waves. I'll also do a Downwind Review at some point.

This board surfs really nice, way better than the M-14. It has a little less glide than its bigger sibling but makes up for it in turning ability and general all around maneuverability. It feels faster on the wave than the M-14.

Just standing on the board, the stability seems about the same. Catching waves I felt much more in control. This board really surfs. It has no raceboard feel at all. It feels like a surfboard.

I think it will perform awesomely in head high offshore waves. I'm really glad I bought this board.

The pics aren't that great. Too much sun. The yellow is actually much deeper and brighter. I like it.

Great looking board.  Must be wicked stable to balance on its tail like that!

Nice board. But where's the 16ft one? I was getting all excited that there was a new JL UL.

This is the first I've heard of it. Would it be an M-16? That would be cool.

I see now. The title.

I don't know how that happened. I could have sworn it said M-12'6 when I wrote it.

An M-16 would be rad.

An M-16 would be awesome... Don't edit the title, or ask admin to...  Maybe Jimmy will get the hint.. There sure seems to be some feedback to him from the Zone.. People asked for the Rail, and bingo, Jimmy delivered!    8)
It ain't over until the fat board sinks....

Yes - an M16 please Jimmy! And you won't even have to rename it because it already sounds militaristic like your other boards (Mission, U Boat, Sidewinder, Stiletto etc). It must be fate...

Yeah, I got all excited and then you show the 12'6.

Anyone talking to Jimmy please ask beg for a 16' Rail, x25 from his windsurfing beer drinking buddies back in the day in Geneva. I'd be all over that!
