Creek:  Dying to see it, but it may be a slow death.....as it isn't showing.  Says something about SME content, country, copyright....etc.

Hope you can fix it before you leave.  But have a great trip.

Sweet.  It was a great session.  I got some nice (short) rights, and a lot of late takeoffs in the wind.  You had that left wired......nice flow.

Another nice session, Creek.

Your footwork has always been my model for turning.  I am finally getting turning down on the Prowave and wondering why it was so hard and took so long (over a year).  I guess I just can't rush the old bod's time schedule for progress, it happens when it happens.

Now that I am turning up and down on the waves, it is almost feels natural.

I was embarrassed yesterday during a very crowded Santa Cruz beach session to drop in and run a longboarder down.  I never saw anybody on the wave, just a couple paddling out, so I wonder if he didn't try to snake me or if it was a true drop in.  I was up on the crest, he came in through the trough, I tried but failed to pull out, my board went on rail over his board and skidded between his legs and I basically flew forward and bowled him off his board.  No damage to boards or people, but I think I should be able to avoid these things by now.

They guy said he was trying to make it under me, was very nice, and I apologized, no bad vibes at all.

NEsS... you were getting some beautiful rights.... too bad the cam was only picking up the lefts.

eastie.... as good as Portugal? ;)

Stony. bad timing buddy. We will get a nice session to share soon.

cheat... at 1:45, you can see that I was lining up to go under the longboarder, as he was dropping in on the shoulder.
It sounds like he took off further back than you and was planning to shoot under you as you were hung up at the top.... I do that when it looks like I can safely get by.
He took a chance and lost. You were dropping in, but he chose to put himself in front of you. Shart happens..... keep them eyes open  :)

Great advice for you there Cheat, we do our best but shat happens. Cool that he didn't vibe you.

And Creek that bank is a beauty!!  Hopefully it'll last through the spring. Here as well it's been interesting to see which banks have survived or been moved by the unusually heavy winter surf.

And that longboarder tried his best but couldn't nail you.

sJ... the Longboarder is a friend, didn't see me  :)
Figures, now that the sandbar has reached perfection..... I leave.

I am at Jimk's, on my way to meet up with Tino for the Sunova East Coast Demo Tour -  the Sequel.

Here's link to the demo thread:

I was kidding, he was clearly giving it all to fight the gravity and lip momentum in your direction. On my first trip to Hawaii I was out at 8' Pipe, a clueless fresh off the plane tourist, and when I finally paddled for one I looked to the right to see Ronnie Burns dropping in. I slammed on the brakes and embedded in the lip watched him arch under me.  Thought I was about to die but somehow hit only sand in between the coral heads.  Stayed away from there for some years.

Watched this on book...watched again here. Those are some perfect waves you scored. This vid has made me wanna road up there once again! lol...I was just chattin' on book w/another Zoner about your beautiful, solid, and steady style. My comment was "Creek style is potent sh!t! The good stuff"!

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
