Just heard that Keith Emerson died the other day.  One hell of a rock band in heaven these days.

Saw ELO in Boston in the early 70's great group. I agree... it seems they are all going at once. RIP Keith!

Saw them live at the California Jam back in the day...mind blowing...also playing were Black Sabbath...Deep Purple...Black Oak Arkansas...Eagles...etc...but, they were the standout...check out this ELP clip there...especially, Keith on keyboards at 10:05...a cut above...

I know Weeds was a typo but my wife had a brain fart when we went to see Greg Lake perform solo a few years ago. Small crowd and he was asking for requests...she turns to me and whispers "Nights in White Satin" and almost turned to yell it out before I stopped her.  Definite senior moment that we still laugh about. Bizarre because she was a big Moody Blues fan and she went with me to the ELP concert...she was almost as big a fan as I was and went to far more concerts in general than I ever did.

What a great show....1st balcony on the corner right over the stage...mind blowing. Just remembered though that it was actually 77 or 78 that we went not 73.
