If you're 141 pounds, some of those boards will be tanks for you in waves.  I'm 140-145 and anything over 120 L feels like a barge in surf for me.  My big comfy cruiser is 8'6 x 30, 118 L  and I prefer my smaller board (7'6 x 28, 95 L) if the conditions allow it.  I'm a low intermediate surfer usually in waves chest high or below.

Kronos LB: 8'10 x 26.5, 84 L https://goo.gl/4iQdps

You'd probably have tons more fun with two boards:
One for the surf and One for touring.

For touring: you will glide better, go faster, travel further, and all-around have more fun with a longer board if you decide to tour for anything more than just 2 miles. For this reason, I'd strongly recommend a 12'6 as the strict minimum, 14' for more glide.

I am lighter than you and I use a 17'6 when it's all about glide and fun in the ocean.
If you have the money, get a new 14' board.
If you don't, look at the used market for a 12'6 or 14' board.
In most cases, an inflatable 14' board will be faster and more fun than a 10' rigid board.

STILL: the ver best thing you can do is try different size in calm conditions, and go with the feel.

I'm curious about something.....  As boards get longer for touring, does volume matter less?  A lighter person will do okay on a longer board, even if the volume is high?

You'll do okay on most brands, though certain models will work better than others for lighter paddlers.
For instance, my current 17'6 x 23" board isn't suited for heavier paddlers (do-able for them, but not ideal).
On the other hand, my 14' JL Stilleto was super fun, but didn't fit me at all. My 14' JL Sabre was not as fun and didn't fit my lightweight.

You are asking a very good question though… and in reality, there should be two versions for each model ever produced - but in real life, that isn't feasible. It's all about a compromise in the world of SUP - with the exception of having fun (where there's never any compromise there) :)
