Possibly heading out shortly to little Rhodie ... winds appear to have died down, Magic Seaweed and Swellinfo have the forecast overhead and offshore  !!

The forecast looks great up here too. I have the next five days open so I'll be surfing every day as long as the wind cooperates.

I'm still waiting for my Flow. Tino said he was going to ship it last week so it should be here by now, along with AkeG's Speeed. They might arrive today. I wish I knew. The anticipation is killing me.

The shop is letting me borrow an 8'4 King's Wedge in the meantime so that should be fun.

I've stopped using my JL's since I put them on Craigslist.

Looking festive out there, 1st and Narry cams look better than the Cape at the moment. Wishful thinking sitting at my desk eating lunch though....... >:(

Cape Cod was big and hollow. Windy and cold. Lots of standing around. Shorties went out but I hear they were getting pretty well thumped.
The 3rd pic looks Nice'Neasy..... but it twern't

So I opted for the mellower points and reefs in Rhode Island.

My buddy Ryan lasted longer than me, so I got some shots of him on his 8'10 Speeed

1 - 3    Cape Cod
4 - 11  Rhode Island

Tomorrow looks good!

Dem be some mighty pertty waves over dar!   ;D

That is always a tricky place to be caught, in between family waiting on one side, and the surf calling from the other.

Just back from 1st Beach Newport, it was Waist to Chest with the occasional surprise sets head high. Wind was blowing at least 10-15 offshore which made for the needed late drop as paddling into the wave was exhausting. Some fun long rides and the occasional wipe out into the eye opening yet refreshing 38 degree water. Surprised that I was the only SUP out with a handful of proners. Mr Big was on his way as I was heading to work late.

some nice sets at dawn down here by me-beach 142-all to ourselves-strong offshores with a bit of west-late drop required-lotta pulling back from closeout walls-but some nice ones, too-cold

tomorrow will be smaller, but clean and without wind-weekend not promising-better get some tomorrow
