Today:
Brilliant sunshine
35 degrees
Light offshore wind
Sweet little swell

Everyone at the beach was in glory.... all smile... ready for a cookout.
After the session, we all hung out like summertime..... a perfect day :)

"Weed" showed up to take pictures - thanks Eddie!
Cyclops, waterkook, supthecreek and Jeff.... I always get his zone name messed up, so....
( I am pretty sure I messed up which one is waterkook too.... )

I was playing on the beefy Sunova 9'5 Surf.... enjoying the heck out of it. So easy and fun!

Buch of surfer friends in the line-up... everybody smiling and loving the day!

Jeez, I need to HTFU! I woke up to wind and rain and started complaining to the wife. Forecast is a high of 67 today. After seeing your photos I feel compelled to suit up ( swimsuit) and go for a downwinder or something. 😉

Wetsuit: cheapie 4/3;  5 mil Zippered dive boots; 3.2 mm fleece lined 5 finger gloves; rash guard with hood.... left off part of the time...it was a beautiful day. Really.
The beach was filled with people strolling around, enjoying the day.

I have a lot more pics that "weed" took.... I am going to post them on the Sunova Page in SUP marketplace, cuz they show some action on a few boards.

here's some cool pics from the day.... thanks weed! :)

Good waves, great vibes, beach skiing, and frozen gutter forms! What more could you ask for? I know, someone to take pictures and someone to post them! Thanx, Creek and Weed! Cool sesh!
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

STC,

I forgot to give you a heads up that surf would be good on Saturday (a.k.a. "I had to go out of town this weekend"). Thanks for posting these pictures (& thanks to Weed for his relentless photography efforts). I'm regret missing it, but at least I took care of business and I can enjoy Saturday's action vicariously until the next sesh. Stay safe and warm in this blizzard. Hunkered down myself, looking at a possible clean sesh up on Wednesday PM.

More later ...

Sweet......wish i coulda.

Thankflully we aren't getting quite as much as that forecast....I think the 16" at the heart of the blue is centered over my house. I might try and get a late day session down south later in the week.

Jerry "WaterKook" is always good for some great slot shots!

Sorry you didn't make it, but it didn't shape up till we went out.

Wed looks all time, southside!
