Tubular 7'10" Jammer Sesh...
« on: February 05, 2016, 03:24:05 PM »
Got some fun barreling waves on my 7'10" Jammer...even got a hoot from a short boarder...;-)
Wish the GoPro was more WYSIWYG...and, didn't have the fish eye effect...

Also, gotta be stoked with the weather forecast...nice all week...possible 85* on Tuesday...

Oil slick glass up there in Santa Barbara! I like your GoPro pov, head mount? The surf here in Encinitas had been quite the same lately!
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Thanks surfercook...
Good surf with good weather...stoked that you are getting some California goodness...add in some good food...good music...pretty wahines...hard to go wrong with that combo...;-)

I've been using a mouth mount...after using a bunch of the other options...it's my favorite right now because I can always pretty much count on it......

One of the biggest reasons is that it's much easier to lick & dip to keep H20 droplets off...easier to know for sure when you are filming...and, the most efficient...etc...but, it still suffers from the GoPro distortion...etc...

I'm starting to mess around with a DIY over the shoulder 3rd person setup...but, it's not quite ready for prime time...;-)
