Wednesday @ Higgins beach Maine (closest surf to Portland) and about 15 minutes from the shop:

4ft @ 8sec, 7-11mph winds crossshore.

Creek, I'm glad you'll be making a stop on Long Island.  I have the 9'5" speed due to you.  I got it in October and have only gotten out on it once in small choppy surf.  It was even fun in that surf.  My son has taken it out in some really nice chest high surf and had a fantastic time. He loves it!
Unfortunately I cannot be at Glacier Bay tomorrow.  I did stop by there today and let Mike know the board is awesome and the quality of construction is superb.
Good luck on your trip.

Safe travels Rick! Have a great time heading down the coast and enjoy the warmer temps.  Look forward to getting together when you come back up the coast and we can hopefully organize a sesh!

Creek, I have a quick question... These Sunova Speeds that you love look really cool. You may remember I'm mostly a beachbreak guy, just learning (SUP) and length is the enemy in some of these waves. I'm wondering if the Speed is similar to the Tomo boards in that I could expect equal stability in a more narrow than normal board? My board now is 6' 10" x 29" wide x 4" thick with ample tail width. I would love a narrower, thinner board for hollow waves but do you think the non-traditional outline gives stability? The 7′ 11″ x 26 1/8 x 4 1/8 @ 94L would be 6 or so liters more than I'm riding now, normally I would think dropping 2 7/8" in width would kill my stability, but what do you think? O.K., so not a quick question.
P.S. that 7′ 10″ x 27 1/2 x 4 @ 94L Sunova Soul looks killer too!!!
P.S.S. Congrats on the affiliation. You've been a vocal proponent and spreader of stoke. Nobody deserves it more!!!!
